Racers from around the world will come to Sonoma County this April 19th to test their mettle via The Growler–not only the longest and toughest route offered at Levi’s Gran Fondo, but an event that is putting the United States on the map for professional road racing. And why not? At 137.5 miles and 13,867 feet of climbing through, over and around some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet, The Growler deserves a spot on cycling’s world stage.

But racing is expensive, and so is Sonoma County. Many competitors can’t cover all of the costs associated with racing in this part of the world. Travel and lodging can be true barriers to entry. Do you have one or two spare rooms since the kids went to college? A vacation rental you’d be willing to provide to an out-of-town racer who just might be on the pro circuit?

We here at Bike Monkey and the racers coming to town in just a few months would be eternally grateful for your hospitality. Please let us know if you can host an athlete this Spring by dropping us a line at info@bikemonkey.net with the subject line Host Housing Offer.

Thank you for your consideration!
