It’s personal now.
When you pin a bib number to your jersey, it’s a statement. You’re not a spectator. You’re in it. This year at Levi’s GranFondo, we wanted that statement to carry a little more weight—so we’re putting your name and your national flag on your rider bib.
But here’s the catch: you need to be registered by Friday, March 21st, to get your personalized bib plate. That’s just 8 days from now. After that, we go to print, and the window closes. If you’ve been sitting on the fence, consider this your nudge.
The Bibs
Here’s a look at this year’s bib plates:

You’ll notice that each bib plate is a different color. That’s not decorative—it’s functional. The color of your bib corresponds to the color of the route you’ll be following on course. It’s your visual identity for the day, and it matters more than you might think.
Find Your Color at the Start
On race morning, you’ll see a series of colored banners placed in the center of the staging area. Each banner corresponds to a route. Find yours. Line up there.
This isn’t arbitrary, and it isn’t a suggestion—it’s how we keep you safe.
Here’s why: Early in the morning, all routes share the same roads. Hundreds of riders are moving together in a mass of wheels, elbows, and adrenaline. Eventually, each route splits off in a different direction. When the moment comes to make your turn, you need to be riding near people who are going the same way you are.
If riders from different routes are intermixed, things get complicated fast. Someone misses a turn because the group they’re drafting behind is headed to a different destination. Or worse—someone realizes mid-peloton that they need to cut across traffic to make a turn they almost missed. A pack of cyclists moving at speed doesn’t have a blinker, and late-breaking moves through a group create real danger.
Staging by route color eliminates most of that. You’ll be surrounded by riders on your route from the jump, and when it’s time to peel off, you peel off together. It’s a simple system that makes a meaningful difference. So find your banner, stage with your people, and ride smart.
Read the Rider Guide
There’s a lot more to know about the event than we can fit into a single email. Course details, logistics, timing, what to expect from start to finish—it’s all laid out in the Rider Guide, and it’s worth every minute of your attention. The more prepared you are, the better your day will be.

*NOTE: Final rider guide adjustments may be made closer to the event, particularly around start times, due to potential disruptions from the new train schedule.
This is shaping up to be one of the most memorable editions of Levi’s GranFondo we’ve ever produced. The pieces are falling into place, and all that’s left is you—pinning that personalized bib to your jersey on April 25th in Windsor.
Register before March 21st so you don't miss out on having your number plate emblazoned with your name and nationality!
