The Tour de France has a way of humbling everyone in it, and this year is no exception.
Tadej Pogačar is in yellow again, riding like a man who owns the road and is chasing a fifth title. Then the race did what the race always does. Jonas Vingegaard, the one rider everyone expected to push him, crashed out and reshaped the whole thing in a single afternoon. Remco Evenepoel moved up to second. Mexico's Isaac del Toro rode himself onto the podium and into the white jersey, which is exactly the kind of story that makes people fall in love with this sport in the first place.
We can't get you to France. But we can get you pretty close if you can join us at Skipstone this Saturday!
This coming Saturday, July 25th, we're hosting our first-ever Grand Tour Watch Party at Skipstone. We start with a morning ride, led by Levi Leipheimer. Then we return to Skipstone, the stunning home of our most influential sponsor and headliner of the Growler Road Race, for brunch and to watch parts of the day's stage together. Good food, good coffee, and even better friends.
If this weekend doesn't work, don't sweat it. We're doing it again in September for the Vuelta a España. Either way, all are welcome. Bring a friend.

This year, and moving forward, we're opening registration in two stages.
Stage 1 is for returning riders. If you registered for any of the last three years of Levi's GranFondo, you get a two-week head start, and you'll save 10% during this time. This is also when we begin accepting applications to race Skipstone's Growler Road Race.
Stage 2 registration opens two weeks later and is when we open sign-ups for everyone: first-timers, riders returning after more than 3 years off, groups looking to take advantage of our group buy program, and Juniors who want to line up for our FREE junior road race.
Stage 1 opens on Monday, August 3rd.
Stage 2 opens on Monday, August 17th.
For those of you who are returning riders and want to take advantage of the two-week window to guarantee your spot and save 10%, keep an eye out for your *access code*, which will unlock the registration form. We will send you that code the same morning that registration opens, on Monday, August 3rd. Once you get your hands on that code, you will be able to open the registration form.
One more note, because we'd rather tell you now than surprise you later. We'll announce the final routes before registration opens. If that announcement slips for any reason, we reserve the right to push the registration date back. You'd hear about it from us with enough time to plan, not panic.
