Kira Payer is a 26-year-old professional cyclist from Housatonic, Massachusetts, currently riding for SpeedBlock p/b Terun. A lifelong cyclist, she now splits her time between Southern California and Durango, Colorado. Payer has primarily focused on professional road racing across North and South America but has also explored ultra-endurance and off-road cycling adventures. Over the past decade, she has achieved success across various disciplines, including a UCI road race victory and a Fat Bike World Championship title.
Payer’s career highlights include winning the 2022 Iron Horse Bicycle Classic after five years of competing and securing the U23 national time trial championship in 2021. In 2024, she placed fifth overall in the Vuelta Femenina a Guatemala and second in the mountain classification of the same race. These accomplishments reflect her versatility and determination.
