Luke Lamperti is a professional cyclist who has rapidly risen through the ranks to become a standout talent in the sport. Hailing from Sonoma County, Lamperti’s cycling journey began early amidst the stunning landscapes of Northern California. He first turned our head at just eight years old when he rode the Medio route of Levi’s GranFondo, then just two years later at 10, completed the Gran!
Initially drawn to motocross on his grandfather’s ranch, Lamperti transitioned to cycling at a very young age, and quickly excelled. Known for his versatility and speed, he became the youngest-ever U.S. National Criterium Champion at 18 in 2021 and has since claimed the title three times. His impressive palmarès include victories at prestigious races such as the Rutland–Melton CiCLE Classic, stages of the Tour of Japan, and the Giro Next Gen.
Currently riding for UCI WorldTeam Soudal–Quick-Step, Lamperti continues to represent Sonoma County on the global stage while cherishing his home roads. A resident of Sebastopol, he frequently credits Sonoma’s diverse terrain and vibrant cycling community for shaping his career. At just 22 years old, he is already regarded as one of America’s brightest prospects in professional cycling.
