Simon is a tenured road racer with four Grand Tour finishes to his name prior to making the switch to gravel in 2025. He immediately impressed, coming second at Unbound, third at Leadville, and finishing second overall in the Lifetime Grand Prix. Alongside his impressive North American results, he also claimed second overall at Gravel Burn in South Africa (winning a stage along the way!), and won Transcordilleras in Colombia.
